That's the course I've done. You won't find one better for getting a good grasp on Python. You'll immediately start to identify ways in which it can be used to drive better and more advanced use of both KUKA|PRC and Grasshopper!

While Johannes has provided a pretty comprehensive answer, I personally use python mainly because I want to quickly access and manipulate data that can be used to drive computation design. Both for architectural and robotic design.

How have you guys been finding KUKAprc for Dynamo? My pc is up there in terms of power, but when working on a simple milling/drawing tutorial I quickly lost my patience with how long it took Dynamo/Revit to compute simple changes. The same actions in GH would have taken milliseconds.. ?

Curious to see if its me or just Dynamo..

Hi Johannes,

An incredibly professional setup, but a little smaller than I'm used to! Once I have everything synced in KUKA PRC, I'm hoping it will be a lot of fun!

How do I know if the rail is synced? Its setup on E1 and I can move it using the pendant and has software switches for its distances? What is the process to integrate the rail? Time and money wise - so I can inform the university?

99% sure the ROBROOT has C set to 180..

Heres hoping I have more of a productive day today than yesterday!

Hey guys,

I'm working on an inverted agilus KR10 900 for the first time that is ceiling mounted on a railing. When I enter the base data into KUKA|PRC the robot is right way up and I'm basically working upside within Rhino & grasshopper, making it near impossible - any tips on how to better calibrate base and/or sync the simulation so that everything is as though it appears in real world?

Is there any practical way to animate the simulation? Say for example you're doing an extrusion and want to see the material with the DIG IO places to make sure its turning on and off in the right places?
