Title: Advice on choosing the right robots
Post by: rasub on June 09, 2017, 12:40:03 PM
Hi! We are a romanian construction company and we intend to develope a suitable robotic system for conservation/restoration activities on historical architectonic buildings (even of monumental size) and artistic goods but not only. We need an advice on choosing 5 or 6 robots so that we cover all specific operations (cutting, milling, welding,  coating fiberglass cutting etc) for all kind of materials.
Thank you!

Hello,

That's of course a tough question, what are your budgetary and spatial constraints? I.e. what size of robot can you fit (for large robot's I'd go for at least 5x5m per machine, weighing >1ton) and are you looking for new or used machines? New, large robots start at around 70k EUR each.

Best,
Johannes

Our budget is around 750.000 Euros and we are looking for new robots. Also we try to find medium size robots 3x3m working area rotary bench  with more then 5 axis, automatic tool change, User-friendly CAD/CAM 3D, etc.
