Ok, members only.
Then I guess I'll have to do the old fashion way.

Hi all,
         I have 2 robots ready to test, 1 KRC2 and 1 KRC1.
I recently finished the ATC hardware setups with success (although still waiting for ATC tool rack to be made), spindle on + speed ( 1 speed), is there a components in Kuka prc for this function? please include examples.

thanks,

LNC controller is for sure do-able, is designed for 6 axis Robot for lower price, where as Mach3 and EMC2, I know EMC2 is capable of doing it look at this:

General Discussion / Homebrew 6 axis controller

Once I finish demonstrate 8 axis Milling with RM, my next task is to build my own controller for 6 axis robot. Currently available controller for homebrew are MAch3, EMC2, and LNC 6 axis controller, till then I might need PRC's help for post-processor and maybe build a homebrew robot as well, so what do you think?

Hello,

At the moment, support for linear rails is in, but it needs some more work, i.e. automated algorithms for ideal placement. That is on our immediate to-do list. Rotary tables will be in as well, but that will take a bit longer.
Regarding the video: While we've worked with that robot before, this isn't one of our projects. To my knowledge the toolpaths were generated in SprutCAM and then postprocessed using KUKA CamRob - it gives you the choice of either having a fixed rotation for each file, or a dynamic adjustment of the rotation values. See http://www.ddg.tuwien.ac.at/index.php?idcatside=378 for some more information.

Best,
Johannes

Looking forward to this feature added in PRC.
