Title: Sculpting
Post by: kabhi19 on June 09, 2021, 11:39:57 AM
Hi,
I'm new to Kuka Prc. I'm trying to sculpt a model using Kuka prc. Any reference file will be great help to start off. I'm still working around the different component of grasshopper.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Abhilash

Hello,

What do you mean by sculpting? Milling with a milling spindle?

Best,
Johannes

Thank you sir for replying.
Yes sir, I'm trying to mill out a human face. I have watched few videos, yet I'm not able understand howto approach the problem. Since I'm using free version, I'm not able to use turntable option. I'm sorry if the questions are naive.

Well, programming milling paths - especially for roughening - is tough, which is why companies charge that much money for milling software.
You can do it with Grasshopper, no question at all, but it's not really a beginner project.
I've attached an example for a parametric wood connection, it uses several clusters which you can open by double-clicking.

Best,
Johannes
