Title: How to use Fusion 360 G code with KUKA Prc ?
Post by: OXIDO on February 28, 2023, 05:56:00 PM
Hello everyone,
I have the Gcode from Fusion 360. But have no idea how to import this into Rhino. Does anyone have a sample .gh file for this? It is the first time I will use Fusion 360 with KUKA PRC and I have no clue how to go about this.

Regards,
Ojas

We have a KUKA and I am also struggling with the export from Fusion 360.

Hello,

In Fusion, you need to use the KUKA|prc custom postprocessor for generating the 5-axis G-code. You can get the postprocessor by right-clicking the KUKA|prc Fusion component in Grasshopper and then choosing the according option!
Fusion will then save the toolpath in an XML format that KUKA|prc/Grasshopper can read!

Best,
Johannes
