Title: Tool axis offset between branches
Post by: alvarogarciasab on April 19, 2023, 09:28:05 AM
Hello all,

I have been reviewing similar topics but I did not find the same exact point.

I am doing milling tasks.
A solid has been sliced into layers, each layer contains some circles movements (circle exploded intro points)
Tool axis offset sets an offset in each circle.
My objective is to only include tool offset in between layers or branches.

Is it possible? Some ideas?

Thank you in advance,

Hello,

Tool axis offset works on a list-level, by default it adds a movement at the beginning and at the end.
Is it possible that your curves are grafted, so there are all lists with just one item?
You could try the Trim Tree component from GH so that they are then hopefully nicely grouped by layer.

Best,
Johannes
