Title: WISH : Play component with slider
Post by: Xylotica on December 04, 2015, 09:25:06 PM
Hi !

I wish that the Play component had a slider as well ; something like the Youtube interface :)
Or maybe this could be integrated under the "Analysis" graph...

Cheers,

Hello,

Hmm... In the most recent version you can already click into the analysis graph and the robot skips to that position.
So basically you would like a separate "Play" button in the Analysis graph?

Best,
Johannes

Hi Johannes,

The idea is to combine the ability to slide manually to any position AND play the simulation, just like a video.

Hi Johannes,

I thought that I'd report a problem I have with the "Play" component :
Each time I re-open a file with a "Play" component plugged in the main component, it is in error (red).
I need to un-plug, re-plug and reset it to make it work.

Cheers,

Hello,

Thanks for letting me know, the Play component usually needs the Core component to be executed once, so that it knows the time of the project. I'll look into saving the last known value, and/or providing a more descriptive error message!

Best,
Johannes

Hi Johannes,

I suggest that "Play/Pause" should be an input of the component instead of a button.
This would allow both "Play/pause" and "Reset to be promoted to the remote control panel.

Cheers,
