Title: sharing network directory
Post by: robotmey on June 16, 2019, 08:08:54 AM
Hello all

I have an KUKA KRC1 Controller with WIN95 OS. I have installed new windows and KRC and want to share a derive between my PC

(WIN7) and KUKA controller with a cross LAN cable. I have attached a picture of my network configuration menu in controller side. I set

IP address/ Subnet mask and shared a drive, unfortunately nothing happened and i can't see any shared drive. can somebody help me

is it require something else to install in controller side for setting up the IP address?

thanks for any help

Hello,

Basically that shouldn't be robot-specific, so you can just google for "Windows 95 network share".
Regarding your screenshot, the actual Ethernet adapter (no VXworks/VXWin etc. in the name) should have the "File and printer sharing for Windows networks" option. You may try to install it with the "Add" button. Consider making a complete backup before doing any changes to the network adapters.

If I remember correctly, its IP address must not be in the 192.168... range.
Also, both controller and PC need to be in the same Workgroup.

Best,
Johannes
