Project : 3DC | Digital design and manufacturing of complex 3D composites
Job Description: This position will contribute to a project developing new digital design and manufacturing approaches for 3D composite components and structures. The contributions include design, implementation and operation of CNC manufacturing methods, including robotic fabrication and additive manufacturing.
Required/Desired Skills: Required skills include demonstrated experience in the design, modelling, simulation and manufacturing of complex parts and structures using contemporary digital methods. Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
Desired skills include experience with industrial robotics operation, toolpath planning, and end-effector design. Knowledge on composite materials is a plus.
