wow fast reply, cool will try your fix.

no importance just the tool was offered and thought it was worth comparing to rhino, as thinking about Rhino6 upgrade, but dynamo looks more flash graphics but only importance is function and speed.
will keep watching with interest.

as ever your devotion to this forum is amazing, thanks

Is their any where in particular in the forum you would like error reporting and feedback?

sample for fusion import is broken picture of error here.
looks grate so far was hoping to get an idea for its frame rate compared to grasshopper and rhino 5.

Support / Fusion nc import optimum settings
August 31, 2018, 02:58:21 PM
Hi all has any one found the 2 tolerance perimeters the import function uses?
when i import tool paths i get 2 remarks in the top right of the module, one is the circular interpolation to straight lines but the other is
"Set both tolerance parameters > 0.0 in order to reduce the toolpath."
but fusion does not let you set 0.0 as a tolerance so is it suposed to be 0.1 0.001 0.0001 or am i looking at the wrong tolerance setting?

Thanks Johannes
i must admit i had overlooked the feed rate implications, but would be a additional tool for hard to reach places and only part of the job as a whole.
hope to have a video or something to show you soon, current clips i have are more black box recordings of my mistakes.

General Discussion / Question regarding new custom tool
December 01, 2017, 02:48:05 PM
Hi all would like to ask what others have achieved in regards to a long reach tool and how far of an offset to the face plate on axis-6, im planning to cast some different head attachments to i have options for hard to reach areas, it goes without saying the further you go the less accurate or ridged it will be.
the question i guess is would it be unreasonable to expect a 4kw spindle on a kr140 2.4m reach robot to work with a 600mm offset spindle, or is their some limit to what the KRC2 ed05 can deal with & will this put excessive load on the wrist?
materials to be cut would be hardwood through to soft foam.
Thanks for reading

General Discussion / Re: system requirements
November 03, 2017, 11:22:26 AM
Thanks for a fast reply.

no flies on you sir, exactly what i was thinking lol "X5670 system is refurbished or used?"

i actualy have a gtx 770 sitting idle without a system so swapping out a gpu is easy enough.
but if the X5670 would possibly present as the next bottle neck it may pay to get a motherboard with some upgrade potential.

as for the dedicated slider in prc its very good at smoothing things out.

Thanks again Johannes
its i tight ship you run here with the prc software and forum.

General Discussion / system requirements
November 02, 2017, 11:59:13 PM
Got a question regarding performance of the rhino grasshopper and prc as a whole.
my current set up is i3 4gb ram with hd4000 graphics
this suffers with most simulations and straight up crashes if i try to test for collisions but does work.
but would like a little more real time simulation and bigger tool paths.

planed system replacement is a workstation with:
Intel Xeon X5670 Six Core
24GB DDR3
Nvidia Quadro FX1800

would be grateful for any recommendations or experience with different system spec's
just trying to get a benchmark of whats needed to run prc well.

Thanks All
