Hi all
i have a milling system with kuka kr120r3900ultra k robot and iam using power mill for program generation
if i do the 90degree milling its looks fine but  if i make milling in angle tool is not even touching the profile

please do advice me to get rid of this problem

Can you please make a tiny, simple test program where the error occurs on your setup and send it to me?
Then I could test it on my end and see if the same thing happens!

That very much depends on the application. For high-accuracy milling I usually calibrate the XYZ values of a long and a short tool (the higher the difference in length the higher the accuracy) and then use the vector to calculate the right ABC values.
I can send you the code, but to get you started you could also just send me the XYZ values of a short and a long tool and I will send you the ABC values back.

Hello,

I was exactly what you mentioned.

That was my fault, it was about data structure.
I could play with the Weave command to alternate wait command and linear movements and then insert a longer wait command in between weaves commands.

Hello Johannes,
I uploaded a video. You may check the attachement.
In the video you can see there is an error messge but just show about 0.2 second in smartPAD.

This problem is not happening with the KUKA test program. I use the desktop computer with high performance power option. Thanks.

Hello,

Hmm... That is very strange, we have definitely let mxA run for much longer than that.
Is the problem also happening with the KUKA test program?
Can you try setting your laptop's Power Options (if it's a laptop) to High Performance, so that there is less chance of any hardware going to sleep?
