Workflow for milling on a complex/random shaped stock

(1/1)

Xylotica:
Hi folks !

Please check out the first video of my Youtube chanel : https://youtu.be/jFdxNP097-4

Most milling jobs imply taking a rectangular stock from the shelf and milling out material to obtain a more complex shape.
One of the stated goals of my company Xylotica is to bring value to discarded wood ; therefore, I am designing a workflow to transform odd logs into useful objects.
In this case, a decorative planter.

Feel free to comment.

Johannes @ Robots in Architecture:
Beautiful, thanks for sharing!
Might be good to include a link to your homepage in the video description and maybe to choose a more "searchable" term as the title.
It translates to "fork scan" and while I see that the term fork is coming from the tree branch, hardly anyone will actively search for that, I guess.
Best,
Johannes

Good advice, thanks.
Changes made.
I'm not sure if I should stick with French or go for English...
