Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an Architect with experience in Robotics to join our Research Department. This role focuses on integrating robotics technologies into architectural design and construction to push the boundaries of efficiency, precision, and sustainability. Join us in pioneering innovative solutions for the built environment and creating human-centered, environmentally friendly spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Research and implement robotics technologies for architectural design and construction, including robotic fabrication, automated assembly, and 3D printing.
Develop workflows that integrate parametric design tools (e.g., Grasshopper, Dynamo) with robotics systems.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to prototype robotics-driven solutions for construction challenges.
Explore and apply robotics-compatible sustainable materials and innovative construction techniques.
Design projects emphasizing the potential of robotics for improving construction precision, reducing material waste, and enhancing environmental performance.
Analyze emerging trends in robotics and automation to maintain a competitive edge in design innovation.
Qualifications

Degree in Architecture with 5-7 years of experience, including work in robotics applications in architecture or construction.
Proficiency in advanced design software and robotics tools (e.g., Grasshopper, Dynamo, Rhino, ROS, or robotic simulation software).
Demonstrated understanding of robotic fabrication techniques and their application to architecture (e.g., robotic arms, automated assembly systems).
Strong knowledge of sustainability practices and their intersection with robotics and construction.
Mindset: Innovative, collaborative, and solution-oriented, with a strong interest in cutting-edge technologies.
Preferred: Certification or hands-on experience with robotic systems (e.g., KUKA, ABB) or computational design frameworks.

Location: Dubai "could be remotely in certain conditions".
