Fusion360 to KukaPRC Linearization issue

Hi there,

I am using the Fusion360 import component to import a contour toolpath, however, when I connect to the PRCCore component, some of the curves in the toolpath are linearized. Oddly, some seem unaffected. It seems that perhaps smaller arcs are linearized whilst larger ones are not. I can't seem to find any settings in the core component that prevent this.

Please see screenshot attached. The grey line is the previewed toolpath from the Fusion 360 NC Import - KUKA|prc component and the green line is the preview from the core component which is also how the robot is running. For reference, the arc is around 100mm diameter.

Hi Sam,

That shouldn't happen. We had some issues with tiny arcs that the robot controller really didn't like, but those are resolved in the import code. Are you sure that the units are accurate? That would be my first guess - that your file was output in m and therefore the arcs are 1/1000 of their actual size and replaced with lines.
If you can share a file, I can take a closer look!
